Troupe Programme Hard Copy
The Eisteddfod is drawing near and we are super excited to have such great participation this year. I want to send a special thank you to all the teachers who have been working so hard with the dancers to prepare all the Troupes, Solos and Duos/Trios. The Eisteddfod wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t for your hard working teachers who spend ages finding the best music, choreographing, designing costumes, designing and making props and fine tuning the technique. A lot of these things are not a paid part of teaching…so a HUGE thank you to all the teachers, you are all amazing people and we appreciate everything you do to help your students achieve their best.

Did you know that SASDS Eisteddfod is run entirely by Volunteers…the Committee Volunteers all year round to bring it together but we need YOUR HELP at the Eisteddfod.
Why volunteer?
Besides the warm fuzzies from contributing to your dance community…being part of something bigger than ourselves, sharing the positive spirit of the Eisteddfod…
We will also be offering a $50 voucher per session for people who sign up for 4 or more sessions. If you are planning on just doing one or two sessions, we are happy to offer you a free entry as a spectator for a session in return (please see the Ticket Box).
Signing up is easy, go to the link below and see what positions are available and sign up. Note age limits vary, see the description.
Whether you have your RSA and want to volunteer to run the bar, or if you are keen to play the music or help on the kiosk or the door (where you can watch at the same time as helping!), there are a lot of things you can do to help.
Thank you thank you thank you to all the people who are willing to contribute your time!

Props at SASDS
This year we will once again have a marquee set up near the Stage Door where you can drop off and store your props when not required over the Troupe Weekend. We ask that you move props in and out of the Side Stage area through the big roller door before and after each session or during the 15 minute mid session break only (please note though that the mid session break time may vary depending on the timing of the Eisteddfod. If you are having difficulty getting props in or out, please consult the Stage Manager side stage. The big roller door will be opened at all break times to assist with change overs.
If you require props for your solos/duos/trios, please arrive early before the beginning of your session to place your props side stage. You will be able to access through the big roller doors (on the Oval side of the theatre near the Stage Door) during break times.
Hip Hop Night/ Troupe Weekend Programme - Hard Copy
We will have a Hip Hop Night/ Troupe Weekend Hard Copy Programme available at the Eisteddfod. Not only is this a nice memento it is also a place where you can follow along without your phone. You can purchase this programme from the Ticket Box at the Eisteddfod ONLY. If you are very keen for one of these please email us and we will reserve a copy for you (email: secretary@saeisteddfod.com.au). The cost will be around $6 each.
This year we are saving the planet by not printing so much. This will also ensure we keep the price down as much as possible as we know times are tough. Therefore we are not doing a programme for the whole Eisteddfod as many people preferred to use the online programme last year and the results all come up online on the app. You can send someone the programme or print off the Programme (or your sections) yourself if you wish by saving it from your home page when you log in to the Event page.
Also, you can add someone to your profile, maybe a parent, grandparent or friend. To add someone in so that they can also see the programme online go to ‘Event’, then ‘Home’ then ‘My Details’ and add ‘Additional Email’.
