CALL OUT FOR VOLUNTEERS

Are you 18 years or over? We need YOU!

Please, please, please, if you can spare any time (1 or 2 sessions or more, every little bit helps), we need people, parents and dancers over 18 - from all dance schools to assist with:

  • The Kiosk (are you over 18 and want some retail experience to go on your cv? or simply willing to help?)

  • The Door (you can watch the beautiful performances while you do this task) or perhaps you are happy to help us with…

  • Music backstage (you get to see all the excitement backstage and perform a very important role).

  • The Ticket Box - work together with a committee member on the ticket box.

  • Backstage Coordinator - chat with the dancers in the green room, keeping an eye on respectful communication and behaviour, assist with cueing dancers to go backstage and co-ordinate dancers or troupes in the backstage corridor where necessary. Must be very friendly (to everyone!) and calm to assist our dancers to get in the zone for their performance.

  • The Bar - If you are 18 years and Over and hold a RSA Certificate, we would love your help serving the bar. The bar will run 5:00-7:00pm each night.

This Eisteddfod couldn’t happen without our incredible volunteers – and this year, we’re giving a little something back.

Complete a minimum of 4 or more sessions as a volunteer and you qualify to receive a $50 gift card per session…. ie $200 or more! Gift cards will be given after the event.

Complete a session of volunteering and receive free entry as a spectator for a session, a free bottle of water or a can of soft drink or cup of coffee/tea.

We truly value your time and energy – whether it’s at the front desk, backstage, or helping with merchandise.

To register your interest, please email our secretary: secretary@saeisteddfod.com.au
